I've started dabbling with amateur radio, as a bit of a hobby.

Its about communication, science & technology, electronics, experimentation and local social groups (Norfolk Area Radio Club); what's not to like!

Licensed callsigns: M0XKM (Full), 2E0XKM (Intermediate), M6XKM (Foundation).

QTH Location: Maidenhead grid square JO02NN near Norwich in The United Kingdom. WAB Square TG10. AMSL 40m.

Equipment:

  • HF: Icom IC-7300 on a ZS6BKW multi-band wire dipole oriented East-West at 6m above ground, via a LDG-RT100.
  • VHF/UHF: Anytone AT-778UV on a Diamond X-510N dual band co-linear
  • SDRplay RSP1A on a random wire

It's all pretty new to me, my equipment is relatively modest, and I don't spend that much time indulging; this is more of a long-term diversion.

If I see you on the bands, 73!
